The Pine is truly one of the most original ... outstanding ... awe inspiring ... delicious and sensory overload causing culinary experiences, in which we have ever had the pleasure to partake. They certainly deserve their Michelin star. The restaurant is set in an old gas station, in the lovely town of Creemore. The exterior is on purpose unassuming and simple (we passed it the first time we drove by). The interior is the complete opposite ... airy with lofty ceilings and plenty of space between the tables. On our dinner, there were 18 dinner guests, and it was almost at capacity. The atmosphere is lively with background music throughout the evening, yet having a conversation with your companion is not a problem. The kitchen is partially open, so that guests can view the final preparations of all their dishes. The staff is absolutely amazing! From the initial greeting at the door, to the serving of the last delicious morsel, the friendly and knowledgeable staff is there to guide and inform you of every single detail of each course. (Special mention to Raven and Mahala, who are not only spectacular servers, but also shared with us many laughs throughout the evening). As for the food ... there is way too much information and details that I could get into, I just don't have the time to describe it all. Please look at my photos, maybe they'll inspire you to visit. Here are the highlights: No menu ... picture cards on the table list the name of each dish. 17 courses ... with an infusion of Asian influence. Seating for main dining area starts at 7pm ... we left the restaurant around 10pm ... that's 3 hours of awesome culinary experiences! You should plan for this, it's well worth the time here. The prices are fixed per guest, and they offer a wine pairing as well as a selection of champagnes at the start of the meal, at an additional cost. (The Mosel Riesling wine was absolutely phenomenal, and it paired so well with many of the dishes offered to us.) The Pine is climbing up the chart of the best restaurants in Canada ... I am certain that they'll be into 10 (maybe even top 5) eventually. And if Chef Jeremy has his way, I am certain that another Michellin star will soon adorn his incredible restaurant. It's been over 24 hours, and we're still talking about last night's flawless and incredible experience. We'll be driving up to Creemore again, so that we can partake in this experience again.

We visited Pine to celebrate our anniversary, and it ended up being one of the most unforgettable meals I’ve had in years. From the moment we stepped in, the experience was transportive—the ambiance was light and airy, the presentation of each dish was whimsical, and the service was beyond exceptional. What truly set it apart was the team. Every staff member took the time to connect with us personally. They didn’t just serve the food—they shared the story behind it. We learned about the restaurant’s philosophy, the local area, the carefully curated menu, even the reasoning behind the textures and lighting. No detail was overlooked—not even the cutlery. We enjoyed 17 courses, and while some stood out more than others, every single dish was incredible. The pacing of the meal was perfectly timed—never rushed, never dragging—which made the experience all the more enjoyable. Be sure to allow about 3.5 hours to truly take it all in. There’s something about the experience at Pine that feels otherworldly—untouchable. If you ever get the chance to go, don’t hesitate. In fact, prioritize it. Thank you for making our milestone anniversary unforgettable.

The place: a Michelin-starred restaurant that is climbing Canada's top 100 restaurant list, situated in an unassuming renovated gas station in Creemore, Ontario. The experience: in a word, AWESOME! It was a 17-course meal eaten over 3.5 hours. Each dish was beautifully presented, using many ingredients I've never heard of! Honestly, I didn't know half of what the waiter was telling us about each dish :) Passion and creativity in each dish was evident. The wine pairing (if you don't have to drive or have a DD) is also a must. If you enjoy my foodie review, add me on Instagram at eatsomethingnewwithvictor

A delightful meal indeed. Certainly a no-brainer for an elevated dining experience if you were vacationing to this part of cottage country. The bigger question is whether it is worthwhile to drive up just for this meal. We came this day for lunch service, and it is an ambitious one indeed. 20 diners, 17 courses, some of us had different starting times, and also 6 were seated at the chef's table presumably having a few extra dishes. This unfortunately resulted in several long lulls where we just watched other diners being served courses that we already had. Be ready to sit tight for 3 hours. Not having done much research I was a bit caught off guard that this was a Chinese restaurant. I thought perhaps some Asian influence here and there, but every dish is a reimagined Chinese dish from all corners of the country, some being quite obscure to typical diners. Despite that, the taste profile is not polarizing in that there's nothing too spicy or strong flavoured. Another plus is the ingredients are primarily sourced within Canada. Service was good overall, though it might have been affected by how much scrambling around they had to do serving so many of us. A few dishes would have benefited from having an extra spoon or wet finger wipes. All in all, glad I had the opportunity to dine here, though it may be a while before I wander to these parts again.

My wife and I had the most wonderful dining experience today at The Pine. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and I wanted to do something special for her. The Pine did not disappoint. From the moment we entered, to the moment we left, we were treated like royalty. The amazing courses were each presented like a magnificent piece of art which when eaten gave our palate a once in a lifetime treat. However, the food was only outdone by the amazing service by each member of chef/owner Jeremy’s team. It was truly like watching a philharmonic perform an intricate piece where attention to detail from food preparation, to presentation, to preparing for the next course were done flawlessly. In particular, my wife and I would like to acknowledge Raven whose pleasant demeanour made our experience that much more rich. Our only regret is that we aren’t Michelin inspectors because if we were, The Pine would not be awarded one star (2024) but rather three. Finally, we would like to add that it was well worth driving 1 hr 45 mins one way for the experience of a lifetime. You must add experiencing The Pine to your bucket list. Thank you chef Jeremy and your wonderful team for making my wife’s birthday extra special and memorable.

By far without a doubt the best Chinese fusion restaurant I ever had in Canada. The food and methodology behind the each course was exceptional! The juice pairing was perfect for the Sunday afternoon!! (Brunch/Linner?) The sauce!! Man... the sauce in each dishes was unreal! If I have one wish for next time when I am back, I would love to have some bread or rice to soak up the sauce!! Not necessary but man the sauce was something else, couldn’t stop thinking about that sauce in the charsiu, la zi ji, scallop... 10/10 highly recommend. Top 5 restaurants I ever had in Canada!
